Synopsis[]

Ethan wakes up in a sweat, traumatized by a nightmare. But if Ethan’s a robot, why is he developing a subconscious?

Meanwhile, back in a secret lab, the ISEA keeps watch on the baby they stole directly from Molly’s stomach. It’s still alive, suspended in a capsule that scientists periodically visit.

But one of those scientists is acting funny. After visiting Molly’s baby, he starts to appear disoriented. Then the pattern of circles emerges on his head, the same pattern that emerged out of Molly’s stomach when she was pregnant. And the same pattern that was on the wall of Kryger’s trailer. The scientist loses control, going on a rampage and killing one of his coworkers. What is it about this "baby” Molly was carrying? And how is it turning normal men into killers?

Gordon Kern, the Director of Security, goes to an "Oxygen bar,” losing consciousness when they put the oxygen mask on. While he’s out, someone steals a copy of Gordon’s fingerprints. Now, a man with Gordon’s prints is out breaking into the ISEA. Turns out, it’s Kryger, the astronaut everyone assumed had died but is very much alive.

At home, Molly watches Ethan angrily drawing his nightmare – the same circular pattern again.

Molly and John secretly visit Kryger. He gives them some code on a memory stick from his prior mission. Kryger hasn’t been able to decrypt it. Maybe John can? Back in the lab, John tries to break the code, but he’s stumped. In a matter of seconds, Ethan breaks the code, revealing a video of Commander Sparks’ daughter, Katie, a former astronaut who died during her mission.

Sparks’ daughter talks directly to the camera, speaking furiously about this circular pattern. She’s infected. The circles are emerging from Katie’s stomach, just like they did with Molly. Sparks’ daughter was pregnant during her mission too. Molly realizes she was the bait for something much bigger. And if it’s that important to Commander Sparks, then Molly knows that her baby, the baby Sparks’ men stole, is still alive.

Sparks visits another secret chamber, where he says hello to a young girl. It’s a vision of his deceased daughter, Katie.[1]
